Unanswered questions become searchable answers.
A knowledge base your team asks questions in, with the passage behind every answer. When nothing covers a question it goes to the owner of that area, whose answer becomes a source.
Everything below is the product's own interface, on the demo knowledge base's documents. The escalation example is illustrative.
1The question the catalog could answer
Answers come from your documents, with the passage they came from attached.
PDF, DOCX, TXT and Markdown files. Each upload carries a status badge while it is indexed — Processing, then Ready, or Failed with the error message attached.

2The question it could not
When nothing covers a question, the assistant says so instead of guessing. The demo holds documents about the product itself, so a question about your own policies is a real gap here.
I could not find an answer in the knowledge base. No document in the catalog covers parental leave or notice periods.
3So it becomes a question with an owner
Every folder, document and organization can name an owner, so the question has somewhere to land. This is how the asker tracks it until it is answered.
What is the notice period for parental leave?
4The answer becomes a document
It lands in the folder as a normal document: it opens in the viewer, downloads, and is cited like any other.

What is the notice period for parental leave?
Request it at least 30 days before the intended start date. If the leave is unexpected, tell People Ops as soon as practicable and no later than five working days after it starts. The same notice applies to adoption.

5The next person gets it as a source
Same question, asked again — and this time the answer is in the catalog, with its source attached.
